24inch BMX are a little bigger, perfect for the average 13 year old or any rider around 4'11" and up. Some people find a 20inch too small and want a little more room to stretch out and have the seat higher for better leg extension. A 24 inch BMX bike can be that "Goldilocks" size, not too small, not too big, just right !
